Membership regulations

Article 1 (Purpose)
 These regulations stipulate the matters concerning the members of the Host Town Appeal Executive Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Association").

Article 2(Members)
 The types of members shall be as follows:
  (1)  Local government member Local governments that endorsed the activities of the head office

  (2)  Embassy member Embassies and Embassies that agreed to the business of the Head Office

  (3)  Members of non-profit organizations A non-profit organization that agreed to the business of the head office and
     joined the association with the approval of the lead company.

  (4)  Supporting member An individual or juridical person who is admitted to the head office for the purpose of supporting
     the business of the head office;

  (5) Lead member     A company that supports the business of the head office and provides a certain level of
              personnel, material, or financial burden associated with the operation of the head office

Article 3(Procedures for Admission)
1 Any person who wishes to become a member shall submit a prescribed application form to the head office in advance after submitting such application form to the head office.
2 In the event the head office accepts the admission, such admission shall be registered in the list of members.

Article 4 (Membership Fee)
1 Membership fees shall be paid only for an annual fee.
2 The annual membership fee shall be as follows:
  (1)  Local government member   Annual membership fee: free
  (2)  Embassy member   Annual membership fee: free
  (3)  Members of non-profit organizations  Annual membership fee: free
  (4)  Supporting member   Annual membership fee: 100,000 yen per unit per year
  (5)  Lead member  Annual membership fee: A company or juridical person designated by the Board of
     Directors for the operation of the Head Office, Provide a certain level of human or financial burden
3 The annual membership fee shall be paid by transferring one year of the annual membership fee to an
 account designated by the head office on the month of admission.

Article 5 (Expiration date)
1 The term of validity of membership qualification shall be the period covered by the annual membership fee paid pursuant to
  the preceding article.
2 The term of validity of membership qualification shall be automatically renewed on a one-year basis.

Article 6 (Rights of Members)
 A member shall have the following rights.
 (1)  Local government member
 ① Right to transmit and receive information services for members
 ② Right to disseminate information using external information dissemination tools (SNS, etc.) established by the executive
  committee
 ③ Right to establish and participate in cross-sectional meetings by country or region
 ④ Right to share Member information
 ⑤ Other

(2)  Embassy member
 ① Right to transmit and receive information services for members
 ② Right to participate in cross-sectional meetings by country or region

(3)  Members of non-profit organizations
 ① Right to transmit information to the information service for members
 ② Right to interact with the Host Town Appeals Executive Committee

(4)  Supporting member   Annual membership fee: 100,000 yen per unit per year
 ① Right to transmit information to the information service for members
 2) Other rights to participate in events hosted by the Host Town Appeal Executive Committee

(5)  Lead member      Annual membership fee: free
① Right to transmit and receive information services for members
② Right to disseminate information using external information dissemination tools (SNS, etc.) established by the executive
 committee
③ Right to establish cross-sectional committees by country or region
④ Right to share Member information
⑤ Right to participate in the planning of events sponsored

Article 7(Obligations of Members)
1 Members shall endeavor to cooperate with the Head Office to achieve the objectives set forth in Article 3 of the Articles of Incorporation.
2 When carrying out the activities set forth in the preceding paragraph, a member shall comply with the articles of incorporation and rules, in addition to complying with the provisions of laws and regulations.
3 A member shall comply with laws, regulations, and other norms relating to personal information.

Article 8(Withdrawal)
 When a member withdraws from the membership, he/she may voluntarily withdraw from the membership by submitting a prescribed notice of withdrawal to the head office after giving notice to that effect to the head office in advance. Provided, however, that no reimbursement shall be made for the membership fees already paid.

Article 9(Expulsion)
 The head office may be expelled by a resolution of the council if any of the following applies to the member: Provided, however, that no reimbursement shall be made for the membership fees already paid.
 (1)  When having violated this Agreement
 (2)  When having damaged the reputation of the head office or having committed an act in violation of the purpose of the
     head office

Article 10 (Disqualification)
 Any member shall lose his or her qualification in the event of any one of the following:
  (1) In the event of withdrawal pursuant to Article 8
  (2) When he/she has been expelled pursuant to the provision of the preceding Article
  (3) In the case of an individual who is a member, when the individual becomes an adult ward or a person under
     curatorship, or dies
  (4) With regard to a juridical person that is a member, when a petition is filed against the juridical person for dissolution,
     bankruptcy, commencement of proceedings for civil rehabilitation, commencement of corporate reorganization,
     commencement of corporate consolidation, or commencement of special liquidation;
  (5) When the payment of the annual membership fee has been delayed for two months or more after the expiration of the
     valid period of the membership qualification.
  (6) In the event of the dissolution of the Company

Article 11 (Treatment of Member information)
 A member shall agree to use the Personal Information of the member presented to the incorporated association (hereinafter referred to as the "Member information") within the scope of the Purpose of Use set forth in the following items:
  (1) Only leading companies and members of local governments have the right to share Member information in the
    operation of our organization.
  (2) In the event the Company entrusts the services related to the membership services to a third party and causes such
    third party to handle the Member information by imposing a duty of confidentiality
  (3) The Member information is posted on the website of the Company with the prior approval of the member.

Article 12 (Alteration of this Agreement)
The Code may be amended, added or deleted with the approval of the Board of Directors of our Corporations
